About Me.
Hi! I'm Bhavna Madan, an animator, visual development artist, and illustrator based in South India. I've worked as a clean up artist for Strange Beast, a character designer for Passion Pictures and Feral Child. I've also illustrated book covers and character art for many published authors including Alice Oseman, Becky Albertalli and Beth Reekles.
As an animator, I'm focused on 2D animation and willing to explore more. The software I'm most proficient in are TVPaint, Animate and Procreate Dreams. I'm thorough with pretty much any raster based illustration software.

For my bachelors, I studied Digital Media Arts and worked on the animated loop 'Star-Borne' during my final year. I gained most of the film theory and pre-production knowledge I have during this degree.
I briefly moved to London to further pursue my animation career in 2022 as an MA Character Animation student at University of the Arts London: Central Saint Martins. During my time in CSM, I relearned and solidified my animation basics and I worked on the film 'The Original Human' during my second last semester. My grad film 'If I Raised My Mother' was completed in May 2024 and won the 2024 MullenLowe NOVA For Fresh Creative Talent award.
I've since then worked as an animator, visual development artist, and illustrator (in publishing).
